In many cases yes. With all keys lost we read the vehicle’s system and program a brand new key on site. Some late model smart keys need extra steps or dealer involvement, so we confirm your exact make, model and year before we come out.
On many vehicles we can erase the lost key from the car’s memory when we program the new one, so it no longer starts the car. It is worth doing if the lost key could be traced back to your vehicle.
Usually longer than cutting a spare, often 45 to 90 minutes depending on the make, because the system has to be read first. We give you a realistic time on the call.
