Possible causes

A quick way to narrow it down: if the key will not physically turn, it points to the lock barrel or a worn key, which is locksmith work. Safe checks you can do

Try the key gently in the lock and note whether it turns at all.
Try another door to see if only one is affected.
Check whether the remote or interior switch still locks the others.
Note whether the lock is stiff, gritty or seized.
Try a spare key if you have one.

What to avoid

Do not force the key hard in a stiff door lock.
Do not spray random lubricants or oils into the lock.
Do not lever or pry at the door.
Do not keep operating a jammed mechanism.
Do not assume it is the key before trying another door.
